Designed for AC/DC circuits with standard or increased frequency up to 3000 Hz. These thyristors are mainly used at industry standard frequency in the following converter devices: controlled and semicontrolled rectifiers for traction substations, AC regulators, soft starters, high power drives for synchronous motors, converters for arc furnaces, reactive power compensators.
